05-02-2024Recently, the RvA published about the developments regarding CertSearch by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). The RvA has investigated the legal basis for mandatory participation of certification bodies in the CertSearch database and rejects obligatory participation.
Development of international database CertSearch one step further
Check whether your supplier is certified? Know whether a certification body is accredited? Or whether an accreditation body is a member of IAF? You can do so via IAF’s CertSearch database. The database gives substance to the motto: ‘Once accredited, accepted everywhere’.

Climate change in MS standards
21-12-2023The proposed amendment is an additional requirement in the context analysis, which includes an explicit requirement that companies have to determine whether climate change is a relevant issue.
RvA opening hours between Christmas and New Year’s Eve
20-12-2023Our office will be closed from the 25th of December, 2023 until the first of January, 2024. Our reception will be closed from the 22th of December at 4:00 PM. This means that the RvA is not as accessible as you are used to. In this manner we can offer all our employees the opportunity to take days off around the holidays.
