Moving forward with confidence

Every day we drink water from the tap, plug in the socket and take the train. We do this without thinking about it and fortunately we can.

Citizens and companies want to rely on the quality and safety of products and services. Accreditation strengthens that trust.

In the Netherlands products and services are extensively checked for quality and safety. For example in construction, healthcare, food & feed, industry and ICT. This is done according to rules and standards.

The RvA assessess the business activities of companies and institutions that test, inspect, certify, calibrate and validate products and services. We test whether they do their work well. If that is the case, we grant accreditation. This is how we contribute to ensuring that everyone can trust that the safety and quality of products and services are in order.
