Publication of new ASR013: Transition arrangement ISO/IEC 17020:2026

ASR013 is a mandatory document concerning the transition from ISO/IEC 17020:2012 to ISO/IEC 17020:2026.

This document contains all relevant information on how the RvA is managing this transition and what is expected of inspection bodies.

The document includes, amongst other things:

• The key changes to the standard;
• The timeline for the transition;
• An explanation of the transitional arrangements for existing and new CABs, including the associated obligations;
• The gap analysis that must be completed by every accredited inspection body.

It is recommended to review the document carefully so that  the expected actions placed on inspection bodies are clear.
