Publication new policy rule BR001

The RvA has recently been working on simplifying its policy rules. The existing policy rules BR002 through BR012 have been combined into a single policy rule: BR001.
The publication of this new policy rule BR001 in the Staats Courant has been published on the 18th of August 2025. The new policy rule has also been published on RvA.nl, in Dutch and English.
Several other new documents have published in conjunction with the publication of the policy rule. The Specific Accreditation Protocols (SAPs) and the Explanatory Documents will be replaced by RvA Accreditation Specifications (ASR’s).
Each publication will indicate the changes and the transition period, where applicable. The ASR001, the overview of mandatory and informative documents from the RvA, EA, ILAC, and IAF, has also been updated. This clarifies which documents apply to a specific accreditation standard.
