The Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) has published a new version of Accreditation Specification RvA – ASR007. This document describes the RvA policy and procedures regarding schemes and scheme owners and is applicable for (external) scheme owners and to all organizations that work with (in-house) schemes.

The European Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 sets new requirements for the sustainability, safety, origin, and recycling of batteries placed on the market in the European Union. Certification bodies play an important role within this regulation. Is accreditation for the Battery Regulation of interest to your organization? If so, please register for the development process.

Since 2019, the international database IAF CertSearch has been launched. We are happy to remind you again about its purpose and goals. We also explain one more what the role is of the RvA and what is expected from certification bodies that have been accredited against ISO/IEC 17021-1.
